I have a great deal of non-profit administrative experience, and I am available to provide support to small agencies who cannot afford the budget expense of a full or part-time staff member. The services I am able to offer include (but are not limited to) the following:
Grant Writing & Review. Whether you are preparing a proposal for a foundation or a government agency, I have experience and a great deal of success as a program developer and director and have sat on several grant review panels for federally funded programs and local funders for community based programs. I am able to offer services that range from review of prepared proposals to full development of a program concept, including budget and implementation.
Inservice & Workshop Training and Conference Presentations. A variety of topics are available through the WebStore. However, if you are interested in something specific to your agency, feel free to contact me for a consultation. If I am unable to provide the training, I may be able to refer you to another professional who would be more appropriate.
Clinical Supervision & Intervention. Many direct service agencies find themselves in over their heads, when it comes to working with clients who struggle with mental illness. Unless you are a mental health center, addressing mental illness is probably not part of your mission, and the frustration of provding services to mentallly ill clients can be distracting from the agency's true mission. Non-profit agencies are not always staffed by professionals who are trained to understand and treat mental illness. This consulting service allows even the smallest agency to benefit from clinical supervision that will help staff to gain insight and skills necessary to effectively serve these clients. Services are offered in a variety of formats and include crisis consultations.
If you are interested in any of these services or would like to propose another type of contract service, contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
